This is a class for actors 18+ new to working on-camera. Over the course of 8 weeks, many topics will be covered including: acting basics, audition technique, cold reading, script analysis, voice work, the business of acting, commercials vs. film & television and the on-set experience.
Through improvisation, scene study and various drama exercises, students will learn to relax and develop a sense of comfort in front of the camera, allowing their best work to reach the lens and reveal their authentic selves. Each student will receive many hours of screen time and will be able to take home a copy of their work every week for review.
