Youth Acting: Beginner to Intermediate

Here is a fantastic course for the beginner to intermediate child actor (8-13 yrs) who wish to learn or improve their auditioning skills! Each class will cover a specific topic starting with what character's the actor is suited for, what to do when you get your audition material, making great choices that are 'not on the page', working with the camera, and taking direction. The final class will end with two of their favorite scenes on tape, and helpful tips on what to do next! And also keeping the golden rule of 'if it's not fun it's not worth it!'

About the Instructor

Sarah-Jane Redmond

Born in Akrotiri, Cyprus, Sarah-Jane travelled extensively with her family before moving to Canada at the age of 9. She studied Dance for 9 years until attending a full time Drama Program. Upon graduating, Sarah-Jane formed her own theatre company which she ran for two years until moving into film and television.

Sarah-Jane's resume is formidable. For over 20 years she has worked as leading roles in Feature Film and Television. At times juggling three series regular roles at once. She is currently filming a re-curring role on Siren, a television series with Freeform.

Sarah-Jane is highly sought after as a private acting Coach. She has also been hired by production companies to coach on set.
